1986-1993  Principal Investigator of a research project supported by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology entitled "Al-Wijam disease of Date Palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) in Al-Hassa Oasis, its causal agent and control:" Project No.AR-7-163. (Seven Progress reports as well as a Final Report were submitted).

1986-1993  Co-Investigator of a research project supported by King Abdulaziz City  for Science & Tech.,entitled" Stored grain insects and fungi and their effects on grain and animal feed deterioration" Project  No. AR- 7- 169.( five progress reports as well as a final report were submitted).

ii.  On-Going Research Projects:

1995-present  Principal Investigator of a research project supported by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, entitled "Survey of  virus diseases attacking cucurbits and its insect vectors and thier control,Proj. No. AT-15-88.

1995-present     Vice Principal Investigator in the research project entitled "Biologica  and Ecological Studies including sampling and determination of the economic levels as essential requirements for IPM of the Red Palm  Weevil sponsored by United Nation Date Palm Research and Development Network.

G.   Community Services:

            Several consultation  to diagnose and identify plant diseases of date palm trees and other different crops grown under green house and/or open field conditions.  Recommendation of best methodology of control has been offered to the farmers, personel and to the  government establishments.

            Scientific consultation to identify the storage fungi associated and/or infected stored grain of wheat,  maize, animal feeds in Silos plants of  Riyadh and Dammam provinces.

           Several consultation  to diagnose the plant diseases and identify the plant pathogens affecting  date palm and citrus trees and other field, vegitable and ornamentals crops grown under open field and/or green house conditions for the University Agric. and Vet. Res. and Training Station, KFU.  Recommendation of the best methodology of controlling such diseases have been offered.
