My name is Yoshikazu Sato and a researcher working at the Lab. of Entomology
of the Kagoshima Prefecture Forestry Experiment Station in kagoshima,Japan.

Last day 22-Sep.-2000, Red Palm Weevil (Rynchophorus ferrugineus)
was discovered in Makurazaki-city kagoshima pref.Kyusyu-island Japan.

They attacked Phoenix canariensis. Many trees were dead.
And many RPW(Adult,pupa,larvae) was collected.

So I referred to your Home Page, which included many useful information.
Thank you very match.

From now on ,Please teach me some information.
